From 1999 to 2009, I did freelance web design and hosting as Technical Services of New York. From 2002 to 2010, Otto Vondrak and I operated RAILROAD.NET. In 2003, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, and in 2007, I received my Master’s Degree in Information Technology, both from Rochester Institute of Technology.
I began playing the drums in 1990, graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a minor in Music in 2003, and began playing guitar in 2006. Today, I play Pearl drums with Zildjian and Wuhan cymbals and a Fender Strat.
From 2001 to 2009, I volunteered at the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum in Rochester, NY. Today, you can find me volunteering at Placerville & Sacramento Valley Railroad in Folsom, CA and Niles Canyon Railway in Fremont, CA.
In 2004, my photos began appearing in Railpace magazine, and I began participating in Trackside with TRAINS in 2010. My first national feature article appeared in Railfan & Railroad Magazine in 2011. Today, you can find me trackside in northern California and other nearby regions.
From 2001-2003, I served as President of the RIT Model Railroad Club in Rochester, NY. From 2006-2008, I served as Superintendent of the Lakeshores Division NMRA. And, from 2007-2010, I served as Webmaster for the Northeastern Region NMRA. Today, I model the modern West in HO (UP, SP, BNSF), and I particularly enjoy operation, CTC, signaling, and prototype modeling/weathering.
